Posted on 22nd Mar, 2016 in Anime In New York
This post is part of the in the Anime in New York photo series. The series aims to find New York City locations depicted in anime and see how real life and anime differ.
Location: Grand Central Terminal (as viewed from the East Balcony)
Accuracy: Fairly accurate, although the sign board on the far left seems to have gotten a slight modernization
Despite it being one of the busiest transportation hubs in the City, people do wedding photo shoots on the Main Concourse staircases. I ran in to 2 wedding parties who were in the middle of having their photos taken. I was also surprised that there was an Apple Store on the East Balcony overlooking the Main Concourse. This made getting the right angle tough since I had to jockey for position with tourists trying to buy iPhones and take selfies.
